What is Jacob's Touch?

Jacob’s Touch Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3), community-based organization in the Tampa Bay area, dedicated to providing financial care and assistance to families and organizations supporting children on the Autistic Spectrum.

Our Mission is to:

  • Provide Financial Grants and Assistance for Therapy, Medical and Educational Needs
  • Serve as a Resource for Referral Services

Kimmie Fine

Founder/President

Kimmie Fine, founder of Jacob’s Touch, is the proud mother of her beautiful son, Jacob Fine, the namesake of the Foundation. After realizing Jacob was on the spectrum and discovering his many gifts, talents and abilities Kimmie was inspired to start a foundation to help other families and their children reach their fullest potential. Of this inspiration, Jacob’s Touch was born.

As a Tampa native, Kimmie has strong roots to her community. She is a sustaining member of the Junior League of Tampa. She is a life long member of Tampa Yacht & Country Club, loves travel, sports, exercising, decorating and family time. Kimmie is a Multi-Million Dollar Producer Realtor with Palermo Real Estate Professionals.

Kimmie received a Master’s Degree in Sociology in 1996 from University of South Florida. She is a Chi Omega Sorority Alumna, and member of the USF President’s Council/Green Jacket Club.

Aadonia de la Torre is currently a Lead Designer for Restoration Hardware.  She has vast experience in marketing and creative design in various industries including, retail, real estate, legal, coaching/training, and nonprofit.  She also has 15-plus years serving in a management capacity with a multi-national financial corporation, specializing in finance, operational auditing, project management and consulting. She is a graduate of Mercer University, Bachelor of Business Administration with a double major in Management and Finance.

Aadonia has strong ties to the Tampa Bay community.  She is currently a sustaining member of The Junior League of Tampa.  Aadonia has been a member since 1999, serving on the Board of Directors for 3 years, with a focus on improving the lives of families through fundraising efforts and hands-on community service.  She is an avid reader and very involved with her children’s school helping to raise money and support their programs.  Aadonia resides in South Tampa with her husband and two children and their sweet dog Allie.

Allene Martin Myers

Treasurer

Allene is currently a Senior Business Advisor in the Client Accounting and Advisory Services Group at Hancock Askew & Co, LLP. She has over 30 years of experience in the accounting profession in various types of industries including banking, manufacturing and not for profit. Originally from the Boston area. Allene is a graduate of Rollins College with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Studies. She is alumna of Kappa Alpha Theta Fraternity.

Allene moved to South Tampa in 1998, where she currently resides with her daughter. She is Sustaining Member of The Junior League of Tampa. She currently serves on the boards as Treasurer for Davis Island Youth Sailing Foundation and Tampa Bay Aquatics Central Booster Club, Inc. She has been on the Jacob’s Touch Foundation Golf Tournament Committee for several years. She is also a member of Tampa Yacht & Country Club.

Kelly Mitchell

Kelli L. Mitchell, Esquire

Legal

Kelli L. Mitchell is a marital and family law attorney. She has lived in the Tampa Bay area for over 27 years. She received her undergraduate degree in Mass Communications from the University of South Florida and her law degree from Stetson University College of Law, following in the footsteps of her father, Joe.

Kelli is a sustaining member of the Junior League of Tampa, serves on the Executive Committee of the Family Law Section of the Hillsborough County Bar Association, is an active member of the Stann W. Givens Family Law American Inn of Court and has either chaired or served on many fundraising committees throughout the Tampa Bay area.

Kelli lives in South Tampa, and in her spare time enjoys horseback riding, traveling, quality time with family and friends, and chasing after her Jack Russell Terrier, Finnigan.

Julie Reyes

Government

Julie Reyes is the CoFounder and Chief Operations Officer of Cuspis Vir Consulting, LLC., Providing support and advocacy to our Autism Special Needs and Veteran communities through Consulting, Networking, Education, Awareness, and Training.

Julie works with the community at large creating, developing, and delivering superior family support programs, training for ALL family members, leadership training, community education and training, resiliency programs, large and small group public speaking, and event coordination. Julie has over 22 years of corporate business experience with Chase Manhattan Bank, CitiGroup and Early Autism Project.

Julie and her family relocated to Tampa via the USArmy, her husband proudly served over 33 years active duty with multiple combat deployments, now happy to call Tampa Bay home. Julie is extremely active in the Tampa Bay community serving on the Boards of Artistas, Morning Star School MacDill Officers Spouse Club and developing their Churches special needs ministry. Parents of triplets, their son was diagnosed with Autism at the age of 2, advocacy, education and activism has become their passion.
